We are thrilled to announce a new collaboration with The Station, an independent, non-governmental, and not-for-profit organisation in Iraq that helps young entrepreneurs and artists with their careers. This project will bring together Arab Women artists from Iraq and the United Kingdom. We will also support the fantastic work that The Station is doing to develop emerging creative leaders in Iraq.
The lifeblood of Arts Canteen is discovering and supporting the next generation of Arab artists and creative talent. This partnership will allow us to continue our international artist development work, and we are excited about the journey we are about to embark on with The Station.
This project is funded by the British Council’s International Collaboration Grants, which are designed to support UK and overseas organisations to collaborate on international arts projects.
